We’ve been named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026
We’re proud to share that DF Capital has been selected for The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026. This award celebrates the outstanding achievements of employers in creating exceptional workplace environments and reflects the culture we’ve built together as we recently marked our 10th birthday.
Based on employee engagement survey data that benchmarks workplace performance across participating organisations, this recognition follows a standout period for our business, marked by exceptional engagement and a strong, purpose-led culture. We also achieved Great Place to Work® Certification, supported by a 96% survey response rate and an overall engagement score of 84%, placing us firmly in the ‘excellent’ category and significantly above both industry and global benchmarks.
An incredible 96% of our colleagues took part in the survey – and one result really stands out: 90% said they feel proud to work here. We recorded a +55 employee Net Promoter Score, alongside a 93% retention rate and just 3% flight risk, reflecting strong loyalty and long-term commitment across our organisation.
The survey also highlighted strong performance across all six dimensions of workplace engagement, with our Diversity and Inclusion scores exceeding both industry and global benchmarks. These findings reflect a culture where colleagues feel valued, supported and empowered to thrive.
Our people play a central role in delivering our commitment to outstanding service, helping individuals save for the future, providing multi-product lending to UK SMEs, and supporting local communities through volunteering and partnerships. That connection between colleagues, customers and communities is what makes DF Capital different.
That strong colleague engagement is also reflected in customer outcomes. We achieved a +59 Customer Net Promoter Score and were awarded the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award for the third consecutive year, underlining how closely colleague engagement and customer experience are connected.
Commenting on the recognition, our CEO Carl D’Ammassa said:
“This recognition means a great deal to all of us at DF Capital. It celebrates the culture we’ve worked hard to build together and, above all, the incredible people across our business who bring it to life every day.“We’re proud to be a purpose-led, high-performing organisation, and these results reflect the consistency of that approach and the strength of engagement across our teams. I want to say a huge thank you to all colleagues for the role they play in making DF Capital such a special place to work.”
